French artists Antoine + Manuel at State Library of Victoria

Don’t miss the brilliant Antoine + Manuel at the State Library of Victoria!

The French artists are in Melbourne for the first time for the 2015 Nuit blanche, or White Night, festivities.

On Thursday February 19, from 6pm to 7pm, Antoine + Manuel will present some of their most exciting contemporary art and design pieces. Entry is free.

On the 21st, Melbourne’s White Night, they will also premiere “Eat Me”, a video installation (pictured) set to harmonious contemporary music.

“Antoine + Manuel, the incomparable French duo of graphic designers, artists and ’creatives extraordinaire’ will be in Australia for the first time on the occasion of White Night Melbourne 2015. Join the artists on Thursday 19 February at 6pm for a unique and exclusive opportunity to explore a selection of their greatest works across fine arts, graphic design, fashion and theatre. The artists will discuss their new work ‘Eat Me’ a 360 degree projection created for the Library’s Dome that will premiere on White Night Melbourne, Saturday 21 February 2015. Inspired by Alice and Wonderland, ‘Eat Me’ will feature shifts in scale and journeys down rabbit holes to recreate the experience of a Wonderland. The soundtrack for ‘Eat Me’ is created by Sui Zhen, Melbourne rising star musician, whose eerie sounds will be in perfect harmony with the visuals.”

pour la première fois à l’occasion de White Night Melbourne 2015.
Le Jeudi 19 Février à 18:00 à la Library, Antoine + Manuel présenteront une
sélection de leurs projets les plus innovants dans les domaines du design, arts visuels,
mode et théâtre. Les artistes dévoileront un aperçu de leur nouvelle création : ‘Eat
Me’, une projection 360 degrés créée pour le Dôme de la Library qui sera présentée
lors de White Night Melbourne, le 21 février 2015. Inspiré par Alice au Pays des
Merveilles, ‘Eat Me’ comportera des changements de taille, des personnages
ludiques et recréera l’atmosphère d’un monde merveilleux. La musique de ‘Eat Me’
est composée par Sui Zhen, étoile montante de la scène musicale de Melbourne,
dont les notes aériennes seront en parfaite harmonie avec les visuels.
